Shipbot Branding
Shipbot is the newest product offered by Auctane, a company whose mission is to revolutionize how easy shipping can be. Shipbot is a B2C/B2B product that lets users buy and print a shipping label in 4 easy steps. Other Auctane products offer powerful and complex shipping workflows for any business, Shipbot aims to make shipping a single package something anyone, anywhere can do with ease.
I worked with our internal design and copy teams to create a brand system that is unique to product but stacks up against the other Auctane portfolio brands. Shipbot can be viewed at shipbot.com

The Logo
The Shipbot logo represents the simplicity and efficiency the product offers to consumers. The icon was iterated from geometric shapes portraying a box opening from aerial view. A smiley face is a simple but iconic design element that gives the glyph personality and represents the satisfaction the product gives customers by turning shipping into a 4 step process, skipping the post office entirely.
The word mark is set in Gilroy, a bold and friendly sans-serif typeface. The characters are adjusted to give the word mark and sense of joy and connect it to the glyph which as the same curves.
